Vivo to Soon Launch V40e in India, 50 Megapixel Primary Camera, Samsung, Redmi, Oneplus -lattestnews24

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo’s V40e will soon be launched in the country. The company has revealed the design and key features of this smartphone. It will replace the V30e. Last month, Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro in this series were introduced in the country.

The company’s microsite for the V40e has confirmed its imminent launch in the country. Its design is similar to the Vivo V40 Pro and Vivo V40. It has a curved display and a vertically placed pill-shaped rear camera unit. It will be made available in Mint Green and Royal Bronze colours. The V40e can be launched by the end of this month. Recently, a report by Smartprix stated that this smartphone can be brought in two variants – 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB. Its price can be between Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000.

The microsite created for this smartphone on the company’s website states that it will have a 6.77-inch Full HD + (2,392 x 1,080 pixels) 3D curved display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It can have a peak brightness level of 4,500 nits and a high brightness mode level of 1,200 nits. The 5,500 mAh battery of this smartphone will support 80 W wired fast charging. Its dual rear camera unit will have a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera. The front of this smartphone will have a 50-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. It can have MediaTek Dimensity 7300 as a processor.

In the first half of the current year, shipments of 5G smartphones in the country have increased by 60 percent compared to the same quarter last year. Market research firm Counterpoint has reported that international shipments of 5G smartphones have increased by 20 percent on a year-on-year basis in the first half. With this, the share of 5G devices in all shipments of smartphones has increased to more than 50 percent. China ranks first with around 32 percent share in international shipments of 5G smartphones. India followed it with around 13 percent share. American devices maker Apple ranks first with more than 25 percent share in international shipments of these smartphones.
