Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jharkhand on September 15 and will flag off the Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat train at Tatanagar Junction railway station at around 10 am. He will lay the foundation stone of various railway projects worth more than Rs 660 crore and dedicate them to the nation through video conference at around 10.30 am. He will also distribute acceptance letters to 20,000 Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) beneficiaries at Tatanagar.

PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of Madhupur Bypass Line in Deoghar district and ‘Hazaribagh Town Coaching Depot’ in Hazaribagh district. After completion of Madhupur Bypass Line, the bottleneck in train operations on Howrah-Delhi main line will be removed and it will also help in reducing the travel time between Giridih and Jasidih.

It said that the ‘Hazaribagh Town Coaching Depot’ will help facilitate the maintenance of ‘coaching stock’ at this station. Prime Minister Modi will also dedicate to the nation the Kurkura-Kanaron doubling project which is part of the Bandamunda-Ranchi single line section and the Rourkela-Gomoh route passing through Ranchi, Muri and Chandrapura stations. This project will increase the mobility of goods and passenger movement. Apart from this, four ‘Road Under-Bridges’ (RUBs) will also be dedicated to the nation.

The Prime Minister will flag off six Vande Bharat trains. These trains will improve connectivity on Tatanagar-Patna, Bhagalpur-Dumka-Howrah, Brahmapur-Tatanagar, Gaya-Howrah, Deoghar-Varanasi and Rourkela-Howrah routes.
