Stock Market Updates: In early trade, the Sensex hit an all-time high of 83,128.78

Today, on Tuesday, the major indexes of the Indian stock market, BSE Sensex and Nifty 50, saw a rise in early trade. In the pre-opening session on September 17, the BSE Sensex rose 95 points or 0.11% to 83,083 while Nifty 50 rose 33 points or 0.13% to 25,416. The Bank Nifty index opened at 52,195, up 42 points or 0.08%.
In early trade, the Sensex reached its all-time high level of 83,128.78. However, soon selling dominated the market.
