NDTV Election Carnival: BJP and Congress claim victory in Haryana, but what is the mood of the people of Faridabad?

New Delhi:

NDTV Election Carnival reached Faridabad to gauge the pulse of Haryana Assembly Elections. In this program, BJP spokesperson Bijender Nehra claimed that the BJP will form the government for the third time in a row, while Congress spokesperson Sumit Gaur claimed that the Congress will form the government in the state this time. During the program, senior journalist Vijender Bansal said that this time the anti-incumbency wave is being seen in Faridabad as well. During this, local people also expressed their views and told about various problems.

BJP spokesperson Bijender Nehra said that the BJP government has worked to reduce corruption with honesty and transparency. He also said that the atmosphere in Haryana is in favour of the BJP. We have the blessings of the people and the farmers. He said that two-three months ago our government had announced to buy 24 crops at MSP, due to which there is an atmosphere of happiness among the farmers. He said that Faridabad is included in the Smart City and it is developing rapidly.

He said that no BJP leader or worker ever claims that we have fixed everything. We have fixed a lot of things, but if the public gives us a chance for the third time, we will work to fulfil the shortcomings that remain.

Nehra said on the question of changing the CM

On the question of changing the Chief Minister, Nehra said that former CM Manohar Lal Khattar has been promoted for doing excellent work. Regarding Chief Minister Naib Saini, he said that giving him responsibility shows that we take every section of the society along with us.

He said that we have defeated the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections. He claimed that we will win all the seats of Faridabad and form the government in Haryana for the third time by winning more than 62 seats in the state.

BJP is dreaming like Mungeri Lal: Sumit Gaur

Congress spokesperson Sumit Gaur said on BJP’s claim of forming the government that BJP is dreaming Mungeri Lal’s sweet dreams. He said that when Congress was in power for 10 years, many development works were done. He said that today the whole of Faridabad has become a garbage city. Water is accumulated on the roads, stray animals are roaming around and there is unemployment and inflation.

He said that the Congress party is going to form the government in Haryana. The main participation in this will be of Faridabad and its MLAs.

On the question of changing his candidate, he said that if BJP can change the Chief Minister then why can’t we change the candidate.

Anti-government wave in Faridabad: Bansal

Senior journalist Vijendra Bansal said that this time the anti-incumbency wave is being seen in Faridabad as well. He said that the BJP MLA whose development work is being praised in Faridabad has been denied ticket. He said that Faridabad was called the Manchester of Asia, but today there is no talk of taking this Faridabad above Noida-Gurugram.

He said that both BJP and Congress have released their manifesto. If we take a cursory look at this manifesto, then Congress and BJP have made similar announcements. He said that even after 10 years, people are talking about roads and sewers. Even if a new government comes, the same issues will be there after 10 years.

He said that the BJP government has done two great things, one of which is the work of making recruitments without any corruption. Secondly, Chaudhary Bansi Lal was considered a development man in Haryana, he too could not streamline the transfer of teachers, it is a big achievement of Manohar Lal Khattar that he made the transfer of teachers online and today 90 percent of the teachers are happy.
