iPhone 16 Pro is the high-end smartphone model of the company’s new series. It will be available for purchase from September 20, but before that the phone has reportedly been seen on Geekbench, which revealed its alleged poor performance. According to a report by Gizmochina, the phone has been seen in Geekbench 6. Here the benchmark scores of the phone have been compared with the iPhone 15, which shows that the performance of the iPhone 16 Pro is not up to the test. According to the report, James Atkinson, a user of social media platform X, first noticed it on Geekbench.
The phone is listed here with the identifier 17.3, which scores 3114 points in the single core test, and 6666 points in the multicore test. Based on the identifier, it has been called the iPhone 16 Pro. At the same time, if we look at the iPhone 15 Pro that came last year, this phone scored 2,900 points in the single core test, while it scored 7,440 points in the multicore test. The multicore test score of the iPhone 16 Pro is quite low here.
However, it should not be forgotten that the iPhone 16 Pro has not yet come to the market. The company is checking its stability and performance. It is possible that the device will perform better at the time of release. In the iPhone 16 series, the company has used A18 and A18 Pro chips. Some slight improvements have been made in the previous processors, which is said to give a better experience in graphics and gaming performance.
