Chinese smartphone maker Infinix introduced the Hot 40i earlier this year. The company plans to launch the Hot 50i soon. Information about this smartphone has been received from a leaked marketing image. It may have a dual rear camera unit. MediaTek Helio G81 can be given as a processor in Hot 50i.

Tipster Paras Guglani has shared an alleged marketing poster of this smartphone. It has a hole punch cutout for the selfie camera on the display. It has dual rear cameras at the rear. This smartphone can be made available in green, gray and black colors. Hot 50i can have a 6.7 inch IPS LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It can be given 12 nm MediaTek Helio G81 as a processor. This smartphone can have 4 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It will have dual speakers with 300 percent Ultra Volume feature.

The dual rear camera unit of the Hot 50i can have a 48-megapixel primary camera. Its front can have an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. This smartphone can have a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18 W fast charging. Infinix launched the 8 GB + 128 GB variant of Hot 40i for Rs 8,999.

In the first half of the current year, shipments of 5G smartphones in the country have increased by 60 percent compared to the same quarter last year. Most smartphone companies have launched new handsets in this segment. Market research firm Counterpoint has reported that international shipments of 5G smartphones have increased by 20 percent year-on-year in the first half. China ranks first with about 32 percent share in international shipments of 5G smartphones. India is followed by about 13 percent share.
