New Delhi:
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal: of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Addressing the workers of AAP party today, he said that I am going to resign from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi after two days. Like me, Manish Sisodia will also not take the post of Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and Education Minister of Delhi until the public says that we are honest. If you think Kejriwal is honest, then vote in large numbers in the elections. Kejriwal said that today I have come to the court of the public. I have come to ask you whether you consider Kejriwal honest or guilty. I will not sit on the CM’s chair until you tell me to do so. I am resigning because they have accused me of corruption. I did not come into politics to do this. I did not come into politics to get money from power and power from money.
“Elections should be held in Delhi in November”
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that elections are to be held in Delhi in February. But my demand is that elections should be held in the national capital in November along with Maharashtra. There will be a meeting of AAP MLAs in the next few days, some leader of AAP will take over as Chief Minister.
I told my lawyer that I will not leave the post of CM until I am acquitted. But the court granted me bail. In a case where it was difficult to get bail. The CM said that some people are saying that the Supreme Court has put some conditions. That is why I will not be able to work. But in the last 10 years, the Center and LG Sahab had also imposed many conditions. But I showed my work.
“The aim was to break the AAP party”
Kejriwal, who recently came out of jail, said that the purpose of sending me to jail was to break the Aam Aadmi Party. These people do not spare even a single Chief Minister of the opposition. The Supreme Court asked the Centre why the government cannot be run from inside the jail. I request all non-BJP Chief Ministers, never resign if a fake case is filed against you. Our Constitution is important for us. Our democracy is important.
“We are honest”
CM Kejriwal said that the condition of government schools in Delhi was bad. 16 lakh children used to study in these schools. Earlier, the future of the children of the poor was bad. We built good schools for those children so that their future could be better. Today, if someone from a poor family falls ill, private hospitals charge lakhs of rupees for a small illness. We opened mohalla clinics for the poor, improved hospitals so that the poor could get better treatment. How could we do this? We could do it because we are honest.
