Honda has issued two recall campaigns for its 300-350cc motorcycle range, citing problems with the wheel-speed sensors and camshafts.

  1. Issues caused by faulty manufacturing process
  2. No mention of how many motorcycles have been affected

The wheel-speed sensor issue is seen in a total of five bikes: CB300F, CB300R, CB350, CB350RS and H’ness 350, which were manufactured between October 2020 and April 2024. According to Honda, the issue is caused by a faulty moulding. process. This may allow water to seep into the wheel-speed sensor and cause it to malfunction, causing errors with the speedometer, traction control or ABS intervention. This defect could lead to a potential accident due to ineffective braking. Honda has not mentioned how many bikes have been affected by this issue.

The second issue affects three bikes: CB350, CB350RS and H’ness CB350, manufactured between June 2024 and July 2024. The company claims that the reason for the failure is an improper manufacturing process, which may lead the vehicle to perform suboptimally.

Honda BigWing dealerships are proactively reaching out to customers with affected motorcycles and will replace the faulty parts at locations across India. The replacement service is free of charge, regardless of the bike’s warranty status. Customers can also check if their vehicle falls under this campaign on the Honda BigWing website.
