The Congress leader said that we had tried to form an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party, we wanted to, but sometimes it does not happen. There was no alliance at the state level earlier, so sometimes things do not work out. Although there was no problem from our side, the CPM asked for seats and we also gave them. I talk about a legitimate demand, although the Congress party is capable on its own. We had said that we had no objection to the alliance. It would have been good if it had happened on the right terms, but sometimes it does not happen. We already have an alliance at the national level.

On the nomination of rebel leaders, the Congress leader said that there is no such person here. Those who were supposed to sit, all have sat. As for the rest, 2500 applications were received for the ticket, now we don’t know how much strength the few who are left have, but the important people have almost sat.

Hooda said that BJP did not ask for any application, we had formally asked for applications and 2500 people had applied for 90 seats. The distribution of tickets has been done correctly, strong candidates have been given tickets. The screening committee sat, we all saw it, it is difficult to see everyone, but we also have an idea. Our policy was, ‘bring medals, get posts’. We recruited in DSP, but the BJP government did not recruit even one. They did not give the encouragement that we used to give. They even changed the sports policy.

On the question of not giving ticket to Bajrang Punia, the Congress leader said that it was his decision to give ticket to one of the two.

The former Chief Minister said that when our government was in power, the creamy layer was 8 lakhs. When the BJP government came, they made it 6 lakhs and now when the elections came, they made it 8 lakhs again. What kind of policy is this? If 8 lakhs was fine, then why was it made 6 lakhs? We will increase the creamy layer to 10 lakhs.

On the question of Chief Minister, Hooda said that the Congress system has been that elections will be held, MLAs will be elected, Congress observers will come, will ask the opinion of the MLAs and the MLAs will decide. On the name of Kumari Shailja, he said that those who believe in the ideology of Congress will not do such a thing. Kumari Shailja is our respected leader, our sister. The policy of Congress is neither on caste nor creed, the stamp will be on the hand.

BJP had promised to double the income of farmers by 2022, but they did not double it, instead they increased the cost manifold. Remember the price of diesel, fertilizers, pesticides in 2014. Income has not increased yet, but the cost has increased a lot.

Hooda said that the MSP is decided by the Central Government but it was said in the Congress convention held in Raipur and it is also in the Congress manifesto that if the Congress government comes to power, it will give a legal guarantee of MSP and will fix the price on the C2 formula. As far as the state is concerned, whatever MSP is decided, the farmers’ crops should be sold on that MSP, no one should get less than that, we will look into any law related to it.

The Congress leader said that we are against Agniveer. There should be regular recruitment, especially it is very harmful in Haryana. Haryana has two percent of the country’s population, but every tenth soldier is from Haryana and every year at least 5000 soldiers were recruited from Haryana, but after the introduction of Agniveer scheme, there are only 250 or 300 left. If a youth stays in the army for 4 years and does not get pension, does not get any other facility, this is a joke with the youth.

He said that I cannot say how many seats will come. But I can say this much that Congress will form the government with a huge majority.
