Congress’s Sheila Dixit, who became the Chief Minister after her, had held power in Delhi for 15 years.

If the commission accepts this demand, Atishi will remain in the post of CM till November 2024, i.e. for about two months. This is important because only he can give free electricity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I will protect the people of Delhi during the next four months because the BJP may try to increase electricity rates in the national capital.”
