Tata Group-controlled Air India has ordered 85 extra plane from Airbus, together with 10 A350 plane, in view of its operations growth plans. Sources stated on Thursday that of the 85 plane ordered by Airbus, 75 are narrow-body A320 collection plane whereas 10 are wide-body A350 plane.

There was no remark from Air India and Airbus on this growth. European plane producer Airbus stated on Wednesday that it has obtained orders for 667 plane until September this yr.
