Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s car got stuck in a muddy pit in Jharkhand on Monday. The incident happened when he was going for a public meeting. The video of the incident shows that the car in which Shivraj Chauhan is traveling got stuck in a big pit on the water-filled road amid rain. After this, his security personnel reached the car and tried to assess the situation. Later Shivraj Singh Chauhan is seen getting out of the vehicle.
According to news agency ANI, Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s car got stuck in Bahragora town of Jharkhand. He is the BJP’s election in-charge for Jharkhand. He had gone there to campaign for the party for the upcoming assembly elections.

Addressing a public meeting amid rain on Monday, Shivraj Singh Chouhan compared the dark clouds with the state’s ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha party. He said, “Just as the clouds have come as a crisis, the Hemant Soren government is a bigger crisis than these clouds… This is not the JMM but the ‘crime, murder and mafia’ government run by Hemant Soren.”
“The clouds are pouring, lightning is flashing and heavy rain is pouring, but still you are determined to bring about a change… Seeing this, today I can say that the darkness will go away, the sun will rise, the lotus will bloom and change will come,” he said, according to ANI.
State assembly elections are due in Jharkhand later this year. The five-year term of the Hemant Soren-led state government will end in January 2025.
