The Central Election Commission has planned a three-day visit to review the preparations for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. Election Commission officials are going to visit Mumbai on 26, 27 and 28 September. This visit of election officials is considered important in the backdrop of Maharashtra assembly elections.

How will the Election Commission’s visit be?

According to the information, the team of the Central Election Commission will leave for Mumbai from Delhi on 26 September. There will be a meeting with all the political parties of the state at 10 am on 27 September. At 1 pm: There will also be a meeting with CEO, Nodal Officers. Apart from this, keeping in mind the security and elections, there will be a meeting of officials of paramilitary forces, Income Tax Department, Intelligence Agency, CBI, ED at 3 pm. At 5 pm, the officials of the Central Election will meet with administrative and police officials including Chief Secretary and Director General of Police.

On September 28 at 9:30 am, the team of the Central Election Commission will hold a meeting with all the collectors and superintendents of police of the state. At 4 pm, the officials will hold a press conference. After this, the officials will return to Delhi.

When can the code of conduct be imposed in Maharashtra?

After reviewing the election preparations, the assembly elections can be announced at any time. Maharashtra elections will be announced after the results of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir! The code of conduct is likely to be implemented in the state in the second week of October.
