Amidst the ongoing controversy over the Tirupati temple’s Prasad, former President Ramnath Kovind has reacted to it. He said on Saturday that this is very worrying. He said during a program on Saturday that after this incident, the faith that Hindus have in Prasad has now been doubted. Former President Kovind further said that a very worrying news has been coming for the last three-four days. I could not go to see Baba Vishwanath while I was in Banaras. But some of my companions had gone to see him. When they came back from there, they gave me Baba’s Prasad, as soon as that Prasad came in my hand, I suddenly remembered the matter of Tirupati temple’s Prasad. I am not the only one who has unwavering faith in Prasad. But the matter of adulteration that has come to light is like a sin in Hindu scriptures.
Let us tell you that after the matter of adulteration of Tirupati temple’s prasad with animal fat came to light, the central government has sought a report from the Andhra Pradesh government. Union Health Minister JP Nadda had also talked to CM Chandrababu Naidu regarding this matter. He also said that action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in this case.
