Adani Green approves $444 million joint venture with TotalEnergies

The Board of Directors of Adani Green Energy has approved the joint venture agreement with France’s TotalEnergies. Under this agreement, TotalEnergies will invest $444 million in the joint venture.

Operational and under-construction projects will also become part of the JV

The 50:50 joint venture will have a mix of operational and under-construction solar projects with long-term and short-term merchant contracts. The joint venture agreement will involve Adani Renewable Energy Sixty Four and TotalEnergies Renewables Singapore.

The company said that the new joint venture will have a 1,150 MW alternative current (1,150 MWac) portfolio. Adani Green and TotalEnergies have a 50:50 stake in Adani Green Energy Twenty Three and Adani Renewable Energy Nine.
